First up, Scotty McCreery Makes Country Music History. Mercury Nashville/19 Recordings/Interscope artist Scotty McCreery has made country music history with his first single, “I Love You This Big,” which has the highest-charting debut for a new artist in more than two decades.

Chuck Wicks Kills Massive Alligator. Chuck Wicks is quite the outdoors-man! The country cutie killed a 700 pound alligator in Florida on June first. Wicks tweeted the photo in the show to share the news with his fans. He took the gator down with his bow.

Shania Twain Gets Her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Shania Twain has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ‘You’re Still The One‘ singer was awarded the 2,442nd plaque in Los Angeles on Thursday to commemorate the fact she is the highest selling country music star of all time and claimed it was due to a “small miracle” that she was presented with the accolade.
